The stand easy seats (or not as the case may be) canvassed by Airbus, see Rhys Blakely’s report on page 33 of The Times of 16th July would solve the alleged capacity problems on the West Coast Main line at a stroke thereby neutering one of the key arguments now being used in support of HS2.
